Works on sports and recreational architecture projects throughout Spain.
Carries out emblematic works, especially in the design and construction of swimming pools, in different countries, for both public and private institutions.
Has been a staunch promoter of various initiatives in favour of development and expansion of sports and recreational architecture.
Throughout his professional career he has given conferences in schools of architecture and sports forums. His works have received prizes on many occasions and he has won different competitions in sports architecture.
His activity as an architect is not unrelated to his previous activities as an international and Olympic swimmer, something which has been prolonged for many years as a member of the board of the Spanish Swimming Federation and Bureau member and president of Waterpolo Comittee of the FINA.

FINA World Aquatics Convention

The 2nd FINA World Aquatics Convention will take place in the Congress Center of the World Trade Center Moscow 29th October to 1st November, building on the success of the inaugural event which took place in 2010 in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

It is my great pleasure to introduce the 2nd FINA World Aquatics Convention, to be held from October 29-November 1, 2012 in the exciting city of Moscow (RUS).

I consider that the development of FINA’s 202 National Federations is the main tool on creating a solid basis for the progress for our sports. Our Members must feel part of a strong organisation, FINA, with the aim of organising great FINA events as Aquatic Festivals, where the world will enjoy the great stars in our five disciplines.
