Visa Assistance
For the 2nd FINA World Aquatics Convention in Moscow, you may be required to have a valid entry visa to enter the Russian Federation.
The nationalities needing to have an entry visa should apply for visa before travelling to the Russian Federation. Visa requirements for entering the Russian Federation vary for different nationalities and it is always advised to check regulations with an embassy/consulate of the Russian Federation in your country of residence.
Please note that for your travel to Russia you should have a valid passport with an expiry date not less than 6 months from the date of your visit.
To receive an invitation letter to be used while applying for a visa, every person should register and receive formal confirmation through online registration process. IMPORTANT: only the requests filled in on-line will be processed.

The information provided through the registration on-line will be forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for review. After the local Organising Committee receives appropriate reply from the authorities, the invitation letter with all relevant information will be sent to your e-mail address.
Please note that while applying for the entry visa to Russia, you should indicate type of your visa as “business”. Visas will be valid for the duration of the convention including one additional day for arrival and one day for departure.
The invitation letters will be provided upon request starting from September 15, 2012.
Last date to accept visa applications: October 15, 2012.
